Terms & Conditions

1. Parties

The seller is JSG Norge (Org. no.: 931366572), Address: Nygata 16b, 7014 Trondheim, Email: post@jsg.as, hereafter referred to as "the Seller."
The buyer is the consumer placing the order, hereafter referred to as "the Buyer."

2. Price

  • All prices are stated in NOK and include VAT and all additional costs.

  • No extra fees will apply unless clearly agreed before the purchase.

3. Terms Binding

  • The terms become binding when the Buyer submits an order to the Seller.

  • If a clear typing error occurs that the other party should recognize, the terms are not binding.

4. Payment

  • Payment is due when the goods are dispatched from the Seller to the Buyer.

  • If paying by credit or debit card, the Seller may reserve the purchase amount upon order placement.

  • The card will be charged on the same day the goods are shipped.

4.1 Payment Providers

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Vipps, or Klarna.

  • Stripe accepts Visa and MasterCard.

  • Payment via PayPal is available when offered. A PayPal account is not required.

  • We do not store card details; all information is securely processed by payment providers.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery is considered completed when the Buyer or an authorized person takes possession of the goods.

  • If no delivery time is stated during the order process, the Seller must deliver without undue delay and no later than 10 days after the order date.

6. Risk Transfer

  • The risk transfers to the Buyer once the goods have been delivered according to Section 5.

7. Right of Withdrawal

  • The Buyer has the right to cancel the purchase within 14 calendar days unless exempted by law.

Key rules:

  • The withdrawal period starts the day after the Buyer receives the goods.

  • Notice must be given in writing (email, letter, or withdrawal form) before the deadline.

  • If information about the right of withdrawal was not provided, the withdrawal period extends up to 12 months.

Return policy:

  • Goods must be returned within 14 days after giving notice of withdrawal.

  • The Buyer covers return shipping costs, which may be up to NOK 8,000 (VAT included).

  • The Seller may withhold the refund until receiving the returned goods or documentation of the return.

Testing goods:

  • The Buyer can inspect the goods but may be liable for any reduced value caused by unnecessary handling.

8. Delays and Non-Delivery

If the Seller fails to deliver on time:

  • The Buyer may withhold payment, demand fulfillment, cancel the agreement, and/or claim compensation under the Consumer Purchase Act.

  • Complaints should be made in writing (e.g., email) for documentation purposes.

9. Defects in Goods

  • The Buyer must report defects within a reasonable time after they are discovered, no later than two months.

  • Complaints must be made within two years of receiving the goods, or five years if the product is expected to last significantly longer.

Available remedies:

  • Withhold payment

  • Demand repair or replacement

  • Claim a price reduction

  • Cancel the purchase

  • Claim compensation

Complaints must be made in writing.

10. Repair or Replacement

  • The Buyer can demand either repair or replacement unless it would cause unreasonable costs for the Seller.

  • Repair or replacement must be carried out within a reasonable time.

  • The Seller is normally allowed two repair attempts for the same defect.

11. Price Reduction

  • The Buyer may claim a proportional price reduction if the defect is not corrected or the goods are not replaced.

12. Seller’s Rights in Case of Buyer’s Default

If the Buyer fails to pay or fulfill their obligations:

  • The Seller may withhold goods, demand payment, cancel the agreement, and claim damages.

  • Interest and debt collection fees may apply according to the Norwegian Act on Overdue Payment Interest.

Uncollected goods:

  • If unpaid goods are not collected, the Seller may charge a fee corresponding to actual return costs.

13. Warranty

  • Any warranty from the Seller or manufacturer provides additional rights but does not limit the Buyer's statutory rights under Norwegian law.

14. Personal Data

  • The Seller is the controller of personal data collected.

  • Data is collected only as necessary to fulfill the agreement.

  • Data will only be shared if required to complete the purchase or if legally mandated.

15. Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints should first be directed to the Seller.

  • If not resolved, the Buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council at www.forbrukerradet.no or by phone: +47 23 400 500.
